Lois McKendrick is an artist and facilitator influenced by multi-functionalism, textile folk history and utopian city dreamers. She is currently working between drawing and textiles; representing and creating sites for communing, activity and inactivity. Her bright and bold pieces ruminate on themes like productivity, acceleration and the politics of space. Often encouraging play and varied ways in which to use and interact with the art works.
